This is an excellent in-depth video review of the Canon 60D, done by Adam Scorey, Editor of DSLR User Magazine. In this video, Scorey demonstrates some of the 60D’s core features and discusses the unique aspects of this camera, as well as the look and feel of it. He also explains how the 60D differs from other cameras in its class. Scorey does quite a bit of hands-on testing in this video, making it a good introductory tutorial as well as a great review. The only real negative thing Scorey has to say about this camera is the price, but he is of course referring to the original retail price in the UK. In the United States, the 60D had an original retail price of $1,099.00 (body only) but these days you can often pick one up for less than $999.00 with a lens included!

When buying a new camera, people often read professional reviews and largely base their choice on the outcome of such reviews. Though it is very important to read professional reviews, and we recommend that you do, we feel that it is equally, if not more important to read user reviews written by photographers who actually own the camera you’re looking at.
